Creating a Dementia Friendly Retirement Community Pisgah Estates August 2nd, 2022 10:00 to 12:00 People living with dementia often feel excluded from community life.  Residents of  Pisgah Estates want to create a dementia friendly community.  This challenge includes learning about the dementia and how it differs from normal aging.  What are the best strategies for communication and engagement?  How can residents best address the stigma and fear associated with dementia?   This is an interactive session, structured to learn from each other as well as the presenters from Dementia Friendly WNC.
