Anyone having reason to believe that a disabled person needs protective services should report such information to Adult Protective Services at their county Department of Social Services. Give the person’s name, age or date of birth, and the name of the caregiver if you know it. Describe the living situation and why you are calling and give names of others who might have more information. You are not required to give your name when you make a call. |

Ombudsmen advocate for the rights of people living in long term care (assisted living, family care homes, and nursing homes). |
Information |
Ombudsmen work with residents of long term care and all parties to help resolve problems. Ombudsmen also provide information about long term care facilities in a four-county region. |

Anyone residing in a long term care facility or the family or friends of anyone living in long term care. |
